BE STILL

What do I mean by “Be Still”? To be in deep silence, a calm state of mind and body, to be PRESENT, to be in the NOW, and to shut out everything around you in order to find peace within

yourself. You can practice this spiritual tool at any time throughout the day. Once you leave your home, you are surrounded by various energies. If you are sensitive, you may feel everything around

you, which can sometimes be overwhelming. For instance, when you are on a bus, driving your car, or walking down the street, negative, sad, and depressing energies may linger in the air.

To navigate this, I combine deep, steady breathing with stillness as I go through my day, creating peace of mind and spiritual balance. My ideal place to be still is when I’m sitting near a body of water.

The best times to “be still” are when things feel chaotic, off-centered, or unbalanced. Remember, you have the power within you to nurture yourself using the spiritual tools stored in your inner treasure chest.

How do you start your day? Do you choose to be positive? Do you set pure intentions for your day?

Why is it important to “be still”? Sometimes, being still gives you the chance to regroup, refocus, and truly hear yourself. This is when your INTUITION is wide open. When you are still, you unlock the door to your highest good—the greatness within you. To tap in, sit or walk while maintaining a steady flow of deep, positive breaths. Visualize your breath flowing through your body, quieting the chatter in your mind. See your breaths as a steady river or a gentle wave, bringing peace and clarity.
